A Growing Library
At Bitmask Games we are building a library of retro games that students can play and study. We are grateful to all of those who have contributed and donated from their personal collections. Rest assured, these games are seeing a new life at the studio!
While it may sound strange, one of the goals is to be able to provide an almost Video Rental Store type environment for weekend sign out or rental of these classics for enrolled students. While that's not up and running yet, these games (and more every week!) are cleaned and tested and able to be played live in the studio during free play events and open lab hours.
Build Your Collection
Whether you're looking to relive the classics or find brand new experiences for classic consoles (including those made by Bitmask Games and its students!), there's nothing like owning a physical cartridge you can hold in your hand. We've got consoles and an ever changing listing of games in stock! We stock Hyperkin "clone" systems that can play retro cartridges on modern TVs over HDMI. These are the same units we have in the studio. You can pick them up in person (and test out some games while there, too!), or on The Retroverse website's shop.
